Friedrich Wilhelm Müller

Friedrich Wilhelm Müller was born in Burgstädt, Saxony (Germany) on March 1, 1864. His parents were Friedrich Hermann Müller and Emilie Bertha Oertel. He married Ernestine Emilie Krüger on May 2, 1891 in Dresden, Germany. They had four children: Friedrich Wilhelm Jr., Emilie Martha, Friedrich Carl Walter and his twin who died at birth. He brought his family to Fort Wayne in order to avoid the Kaiser’s draft for their sons. They lived at 2107 Smith Street. He was a machinist and patternmaker for Wayne Pump Company. He loved to fish. He died on June 22, 1941 at the Lutheran Hospital and was buried in Lindenwood Cemetery.
