Adam's great-great grandgrandparents, Michael & Polly (Brown) Barrone, lived on a farm in Monroe Township on Sampson Road about 1/3 mile south of Four Presidents Corners. They purchased the property on July 20, 1850 after having been married by Samuel Clem on March 30, 1847 and after owning a couple of parcels of land near East Liberty 1848-1850. Michael lived there until his death in 1894 and Polly remained there until about 1912 when she went to live with her children due to advanced age and illness.
