Dr. Thacker's visiting lists, leather bound pocket books for 1868 and 1869, were found at an auction in Raleigh, North Carolina, by a reseller who posted them for sale on eBay in 2025. They were purchased by an ACGSI member who loaned them for scanning. Dr. Thacker originally purchased these record books from Siemon, Bro., & Co., German Booksellers, of Fort Wayne, who placed their stamp inside the front cover.
