Lucinda Walchle

Lucinda Walchle, 84, a resident of Meadowvale Care Center, Bluffton, and sister of a Geneva resident, died Tuesday at the center where she had lived since 1987. A native of Adams County, she was married to Martin Walchle, who died in 1987. She had owned and operated Preble Gardens for several years. Surviving are one daughter; one foster son; two sisters, including Lulu Walchle, Geneva; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two geat-great-grandchildren. Services are set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Thoma-Rich- Hewitt-Chaney Funeral Home, Bluffton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Fort Wayne. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Fund.
