| Query: | Thomas and Lovina (Younglove) Baxter are found in Springfield, Allen, Indiana US Federal Census 1860 and 1870, Thomas listed in 1860 US Federal Agricultural Census with 40 acres in Springfield, Indiana but not listed on Ag Census for 1870. I am trying to find the time and place of death for Thomas. His wife, Lovina died 1877 in Freemont, Isabella, Michigan, living with daughter Serepta L Baxter Mills. Questioning if Thomas died in Springfield, Allen, Indiana which prompted Lovinia's move. Cannot find death record or obituary for him. Thanks for any help! Janilyn Gager |
