| Query: | I am looking for any information on my great grandfather, Floyd Herrick who died around 1919 from the flu. He was the son of Daniel Herrick (apparently they were some of the first settlers!). His wife's name was Erna (sp?) and I am looking to find out if she was Cherokee or not. I know she remarried after Floyd's death, but other than that I know nothing about them. They had three children, the two boys went off to different relatives in different parts of the country and reunited in the Navy during WWII. The youngest was a daughter who I believe remained with the mother, her name was Maxine. |
