| Query: | I am looking for information on Henry C. Shanklin (1823-1905) who married Lydia Anderson (1832-1898) on 11/26/1856 in Fort Wayne. I think her father was Calvin Anderson. Some records "misread" her signed named on marriage license as other than Anderson. After marriage, they moved to Lawrence, KS. Henry Shanklin's first wife (Emily Tait Shanklin, born c. 1828 in Harrisburg, PA) may have died in Fort Wayne--last info I have on her was birth of 3rd child (my great grandmother) in 1852 in Harrisburg. I would really like to know what happened to Emily Tait Shanklin!! Thank you so much. |
