| Query: | I am looking for more information, especially date of death, on Frederick Schroeder b. abt 1838 in Hanover, Germany.
Frederick married Margareta Schmidt (daughter of Peter Schmidt) on 7 Sept 1862 in Allen Co.
Their children are:
John H. 1863, Harmon F. 1865, Elizabeth A. 1868, Charles L. 1872, Flora K.(My gr grandmother) 1875, Frederick W. L. 1878, and Ida Louise 1882.
1870 census lived Allen Co., Ward 5 and worked at Spoke Factory
1880 census lived Allen Co., Wayne Twp and still worked in Spoke Factory.
I can't find anything after 1880, by 1900 census Margareta is widow.
They are buried in the old Concordia Lutheran cemetery but the stones are gone and the cemetery records have no date of death.
Frederick may have had another first name which he didn't use.
